Stephanie's Personal Statement

My approach to therapy is grounded in warmth, compassion, and empathy. My goal is to create a non-judgmental, affirming space where clients from all walks of life can feel safe and heard as they share their unique stories and experiences.

I am here for you. I believe it is both a privilege and a gift to do this work, and I feel honored to be a part of your journey. During our sessions, we will identify recurring patterns and explore the root cause of ongoing concerns to facilitate in-depth healing and growth. I work primarily from a psychodynamic/psychoanalytic lens, focused on bringing awareness to unconscious processes and exploring the impact of early experiences on our development and present functioning, while also integrating humanistic, mindfulness-based, and cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques for holistic support. Together, we will begin to heal unresolved wounds, embrace your strengths, and explore new ways of relating to yourself and others.

I completed my M.A. in Clinical Psychology, with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, from Pepperdine University and am currently working dually as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. I have experience working with individuals and couples struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, PTSD, grief/loss, adjustment challenges, life transitions, and relationship concerns.

My hope is to create an environment that feels contained and nurturing, while also gently challenging to promote authentic change. We’ll move at your pace, one step at a time, to identify your individual goals and work towards building a more balanced, fulfilling life.
