"I'll give you space to tell your story, and help you find out where it's going."
Life’s twists and turns often leave us feeling uncertain, whether we are facing major hurdles or simply trying to get through the day. In our darkest moments, finding our path can feel impossible. When I find myself struggling, I am reminded of the wisdom shared with me by an Alaska Native Elder: “It’s okay, and even when it is not okay, it’s okay.” Even in difficult times, we can find pockets of peace, insight, and hope. I became a therapist for the privilege of walking alongside others as they navigate these emotions and contemplate making changes in their lives.
My journey has taken me to diverse landscapes and communities. I began my career in residential care near my childhood home in Arkansas, later moving to rural Alaska to work with Native youth and families. It was there, during a 15-year tenure, that I completed my Master’s in Clinical Psychology and established my practice. After a brief period serving adolescents and adults in the Midwest, I relocated to Southern California in 2022. Each stop on this journey has granted me the honor of working with people from all backgrounds. I would love to partner with you to identify solutions, reach new goals, and honor your unique story.
As a therapist, I’ll help you gain insight into your family of origin and understand how culture shapes your worldview. Together, we can explore how these perspectives impact your relationship with yourself and those around you. I am deeply passionate about this work; I believe everyone has a beautiful story to tell, and it is my honor to hold that space for you.
