Amy's Personal Statement

As a therapist, my mission is to create a safe and trusting environment where you feel comfortable being vulnerable. I know firsthand how intimidating it can be to open up to a stranger, so we'll work together to build a strong foundation of trust.

Drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and person-centered therapy, I'll collaborate with you to find an approach that best suits your unique needs. Whether it's a therapeutic worksheet or incorporating your passions and interests, our sessions will be tailored to who you are.

No matter where you are in your mental health journey, I'll meet you there. I don't claim to be the expert on your life; instead, I'll walk alongside you as we face your challenges together. We'll navigate the difficult emotions that arise, like shame, regret, or disappointment, so you won't have to face them alone.

Ultimately, you are the expert on yourself, and together, we'll work towards discovering your definition of a life worth living. Let's embark on this journey together and find the balance, resilience, and self-compassion you deserve.
