As humans, we have an amazing capacity to survive significant traumas and tribulations - yet we store these experiences in our body, and can lose our connection to the safe spaces that allow us to process, heal, and grow. Our healing is bound up in our connection to others - this is why the psychotherapy relationship works. It is a human space to be human, to feel, and to heal. We will also look at the dynamics of systems, culture, race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, and political climate that impact your experiences.
I'm here to provide a warm, inviting space to help you gain insight, develop tools, and heal from past hurts and future anxieties. My specialty focuses on a wide range of modalities such as somatic-based modalities, DBT, psychodynamic, mindfulness, systems theory, person-centered approach, feminist theory, and strength-based approach.
