Azizeh's Personal Statement

It takes a great amount of courage to make the choice of seeking help and starting therapy. Your life’s journey is unique; therefore, your coping strategies and therapeutic experience will be unique to you as well. Healing begins when you learn to accept the present and make a commitment to work on the negative, self-defeating patterns of the past. I offer a non-judgmental, confidential, and safe space for you to process your feelings, gain insight, and work towards your goals. Together, we can face the discomfort of your life’s challenges and process emotional experiences with a new understanding.

I am passionate about the healing process and the art of human connection. I provide therapy for adolescents, adults, couples, and families, and have experience working in a variety of different settings - hospitals, schools, and mental health agencies. I have special expertise in helping survivors of domestic violence and those struggling with grief and loss. I’m passionate about providing culturally sensitive and LGBTQ+ affirmative therapy.

If you are considering therapy, you are already a step closer to healing and working towards your full potential. I am here to support you, encourage you, and challenge you along the way as we uncover the unconscious patterns of your life. I look forward to joining you on this journey of change and growth.
